INVENTVM Semiconductor has joined VOICES4semi as a founding member, supporting a new European initiative designed to strengthen the continent’s fabless semiconductor ecosystem and increase the competitiveness of Europe’s chip industry.
Launched on June 1st through the Horizon Europe framework, VOICES4semi is creating the first pan-European association dedicated exclusively to fabless semiconductor SMEs and startups. The initiative brings together six leading technology innovators: Quside, Semidynamics, SiPearl, VSORA, Axelera AI, and INVENTVM Semiconductor.
Strengthening Europe’s Fabless Semiconductor Industry
Fabless semiconductor companies play a critical role in driving innovation across artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, automotive electronics, industrial automation, and next-generation digital infrastructure. Despite their technological relevance, many European fabless companies have historically operated independently, limiting their collective influence on public policy, investment discussions, and strategic industry initiatives.
VOICES4semi was established to address this challenge by creating a unified, independent, and permanent voice for Europe’s fabless semiconductor sector. The association aims to improve industry representation, promote collaboration among innovators, and support policies that accelerate semiconductor innovation across the European Union.

The creation of VOICES4semi aligns with Europe’s broader ambition to strengthen its semiconductor value chain and build long-term technological resilience.

Showcasing the Initiative at VivaTech Paris
A key milestone for VOICES4semi took place during VivaTech in Paris 2026, where the six founding companies met at the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) booth to advance the project’s objectives and discuss future initiatives.
The event highlighted the growing importance of collaboration among Europe’s semiconductor innovators and reinforced the need for a shared platform capable of representing the interests of fabless companies at the European level.
